Senior Storage Engineer EMC² Brussels 6 month contract

We are looking for a Senior Storage Engineer EMC², ECC, SRDF for a 6 month contract to start asap in Brussels. Fluency in either French or Dutch as well as good command in English is mandatory for this role.

Main tasks:

• Install, maintain, customize and automate the infrastructural part of the existing Storage Environments.

• Install, maintain, customize and automate the SAN Environment (Brocade 48000)
• Install, maintain, customize and automate the Storage Environments using the available toolset (EMC² ECC, SRDF, ...)
• Introduce, maintain, customize and automate Storage Virtualisation.
• On-call third line support.

Required Skills & Experience :

Education: bachelor in IT (or higher) degree preferable

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years' experience as a Storage System engineer in a large enterprise.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing projects, as well as, experience in analyzing, estimating, and documenting projects/tasks.

Technical skills:

• Storage Environments.: EMC² VMAX, EMC² DMX, EMC² Clariion, EMC² Centera, FSC Centricstor, IBM TS3500
• Toolset: EMC² ECC, SRDF, storagescope, timefinder,...
• Strong knowledge of SAN based on Fiber Channel (Brocade 48000)
• Good working knowledge of EMC hardware, EMC Software
• Disaster recovery practices
• Change, incident, and problem management

Organisational Skills:

• Having ITIL process knowledge
• Willing to travel
• Flexible with possible on-call situations
